JETPUBS is ecstatic to welcome our newest team member, Janine Hogen! With her background including 23 years of corporate aviation experience, Janine is terrific fit in her new position as our Manuals Sales Manager.
After beginning her aviation career just out of high school, Janine decided to make the transition from pilot to aviation operations. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Janine went on to manage a major customer service desk for an FBO in Minneapolis, and then scheduled a fleet of corporate planes and sold charter flights for large aircraft management companies. Relocating to Houston, TX, she went on to sell international handling services, as well as aviation audits, safety management systems, and aviation consulting services for two different companies. During this time, she claims her biggest “brush with fame” was overseeing the travel schedule for both of George Lucas’ personal jets!
Earlier this year, Janine was thrilled to learn that JETPUBS was located right in her backyard! Striving to make audits easier for aircraft operators, she quickly realized that JETPUBS had the tools to help simplify the auditing process for her target audience. “My understanding of the aviation audit process, the difficulties aircraft operators face preparing to be audited, and the lack of resources they have when it comes to maintaining their manuals to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and audit standards allowed me to immediately see the value in the JETPUBS Online Manuals Service,” explained Janine. “This is an area that is underserved in corporate aviation.”
Outside of work, Janine enjoys traveling, cooking, good wine, craft breweries, and entertaining – or as she likes to put it, “I do my best to eat and drink my way through the world.” Living in downtown Minneapolis, Janine loves to take advantage of the local lakes and bike trails whenever she has time. She is on the board of Tapestry Families, a community-based family resource center that helps to remove barriers for women, children, and families in crisis, and she also sits on NBAA’s Business Aviation Management Committee (BAMC).
