This year at WATS, Wally Hines, Director of Standards at JETPUBS, will be speaking on “Building Individualized Training Instead of Training to the Lowest Common Denominator”. As technology advances, there are more opportunities to individualize the training experience. It is now easy to track student progress and employee performance on an individual and intimate level, but what about crafting personalized content, on the fly, for these same individuals? The purpose of this highly focused training is to create a better educated, more active, more involved, and safer employee group.
On Day Two at WATS, Wally will be part of an advisory break out panel on “Implementing EFB Programs”. The panel, led by Patrick Lusch, Director of Regulatory Compliance and Flight Operations Project Manager at USA Jet Airlines, will explore the implementation of an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) program for a small operator. Several expert panelists from the vendor, software, operator, and regulatory communities will provide guidance and assistance to those working through an implementation. The workshop will promote “best practices” and a sharing of ideas as well as promoting safety. Panelists will include:
Wally Hines, Director of Standards, JETPUBS Inc.
Jeff Buhl, Senior Product Manager, FliteDeck Program, Jeppesen
Rogers Hemphill and Mark Thelen, Aircraft Performance Group
