As in any industry, it is vital in aviation to foster a sense of community and connectedness. Women in Aviation International (WAI), a nonprofit organization focused on the advancement of women in aviation-related fields, helps to encourage engagement in the aviation community. One way that WAI involves the aviation community is through the organization’s annual Women in Aviation Conference. JETPUBS Inc., as both a corporate member of WAI and sponsor of the conference, is committed to growing its understanding of current developments in the aviation community as well as connecting to the needs of individuals in the community through participation in the conference this year from March 2-4 in Orlando, Florida.

One of the techniques that JETPUBS will use this year to involve individuals at the WAI Conference is their reoccurring sponsorship of the conference notebooks. These notebooks, dubbed Forever Notebooks, have become a staple associated with the conference in fun, coordinating colors. This year, the notebooks will be a teal and navy blue combination that ties into the conference’s color scheme.

“Sponsoring the notebooks is a fun way for us to add value to the conference. By providing a high-quality notebook that is convenient, attendees can record all of the interesting and inspiring things they learn at the conference,” said JETPUBS CEO, Larissa Fildes. “WAI is an important group for me, so I wanted [JETPUBS] to do something special for them.” Fildes also sees the notebook sponsorship as a way to add flair to the conference in a unique way.

Dr. Peggy Chabrian, president and founder of WAI, echoes Fildes’s sentiments. “We are proud of our long-term relationship with JETPUBS and are grateful for their consistent and thoughtful support of WAI initiatives, events, chapters, and the overall WAI mission,” said Dr. Chabrian. “The JETPUBS notebooks are valued by the WAI membership and attendees at WAI Connect events all year round, and they always add a splash of color and a smile.”

JETPUBS’s Forever Notebooks are representative of the company’s commitment to building relationships in the aviation industry. The name Forever Notebook comes from the fact that JETPUBS will continue to replace the filled notebook, whenever asked. This commitment to providing conference attendees with a place for their notes, thoughts, and ideas is one of the many ways that JETPUBS is providing an outlet for everyone in the aviation industry to connect, grow, and elevate.

One of JETPUBS’s previous interactive approaches to connecting with the aviation community was last year’s application of fun Jamberry nail wraps emblazoned with the JETPUBS logo and other aviation images.

Another way that JETPUBS will be connecting with conference goers is through an interactive photo booth display located within their booth (#726). From striking a sassy pose with colleagues in aviator goggles and Mickey Mouse ears, to breaking the ice and creating memories with new friends, JETPUBS’s goal is to use this photo booth to involve people not just with the company, but with each other, elevating aviation by developing relationships and lasting industry connections as well. There will be thirteen members of the JETPUBS staff in attendance ranging from first-timers to seasoned veterans. Each individual brings connections, goals, and innovative ideas to the field of aviation and to the conference.

JETPUBS and its core values to be engaged and advocate for excellence are represented in sponsorship and attendance of the WAI conference this year. From sponsoring fun, colorful Forever Notebooks to enriching the aviation community through networking with the exceptional individuals who make up the industry, this year’s WAI conference promises to be one of connectivity, engagement, and elevation.
